It is human nature to fear loneliness. The worst loneliness is feeling misunderstood. So we all desire to be accepted. It is quite normal to question yourself on occasion. So we tend to search through music and different variations of art for pieces of ourselves which may perhaps console us that we are indeed acceptable, normal in a sense. When what we are truly seeking is not the approval of others, but rather the acceptance of ourselves.
Shout out to the boyfriends who unconditionally love their girlfriends while she’s still learning how to love herself. You are appreciated, keepers and rare.
